The Bhutanese Community of New Hampshire and Hindu Society of New Hampshire helped celebrate one of biggest events on the Hindu calendar — the appearance day of Shri Krishna. The day is celebrated to mark the birth of Lord Sri Krishna, an incarnation of the Hindu deity Vishnu. Krishna was believed to have been bornย on the eighth lunar day (Ashtami) of the waning moon in the Nepali calendar month of Bhadra. This daylong event took over the community room of the Heights Center onย Canterbury Road in Concord on Thursday.
