Concord High School wrestler George Tarwo coasted to his third straight title on Saturday at the Meet of Champions to earn his second straight Monitor Player of the Week award.
As the lone champion for the Crimson Tide in the meet at Nashua South, Tarwo pinned Exeter’s Tim Ramsey in the first round, defeated Pinkerton’s Sterling McLaughlin next in a 7-3 decision and dominated Plymouth’s Garrett Macedonia from start to finish in the 182-pound final, 13-1.
Tarwo will make his third appearance at New Englands on Friday as he looks to place in the tournament for the first time.
