Legion post holds holiday raffle

The newly re-chartered Henniker American Legion Post 78 Davis-Woodman-Durgin has embarked on its first fundraising project to assist in the development of children and youth programs in Henniker.

The post will be raffling off two Holiday Baskets of Cheer. Basket one is valued at $100 and basket two is valued at $50. The tickets will be selling for $1 each and a book of six for $5. The drawing will be held at the regular post meeting held at the Henniker Community Center on Dec. 19.

The post plans to sell tickets at around town including the Harvester Market and Edmunds Hardware.

Post meetings are held on the third Tuesday of the month at the Henniker Community Center at 7 p.m. For information, contact Dave Currier at ALHennikerPost78@gmail.com.
