Fire officials are still investigating what caused a blaze that destroyed a garage in Penacook early Monday morning.

Concord Fire responded to 69 Village Street just after 2:15 a.m. and worked to tame the flames in a garage located behind the home, according to Concord Fire Chief John Chisholm.

No one was injured, but in addition to the smoke and water damage to the structure, a silver BMW sedan was caught inside the garage during the fire.

How the fire began was not immediately clear, with the cause still under investigation Monday morning.

City records list the property owner as Paul Lillios.
