ConcordLibrary card sign-up month

September is Library Card Sign-up Month! Library cards are free to all residents of Concord and Penacook and to Concord teachers and business owners. Kids can sign up too, once they reach kindergarten. Your Concord Public Library card gives you access to thousands of books along with movies, and music; downloadable books and audiobooks; computers and laptops; museum passes to the New England Aquarium, the Museum of Fine Art, The McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center and more! You also have free access to streaming TV, music, and movies through hoopla digital and digital magazines through RB digital. This year, the library is giving away welcome bags with library swag and goodies to every patron who signs up for a card in September. And, at the end of the month, the library will be raffling off an Amazon Echo Smart speaker for teens and adults and a Fire 7 Kids Edition for children! All new patrons and any established patrons who refer a friend or family member will receive a raffle ticket. Also, keep an eye on the library’s social media channels for trivia challenges and stop by the library to take a selfie with this year’s Honorary Chairs for Library Card Sign-up Month – the Incredibles! Every September, CPL competes with other N.H. libraries to sign up the most new patrons and three years ago, we won! Help us bring the Granite State Library Card Challenge trophy back to Concord this year by signing up for a Concord Public Library card and by telling your neighbors, teachers, friends, and family to sign-up as well. For more information, visit concordpubliclibrary.net, follow the library on Facebook @ConcordPublicLibrary or Instagram @ConcordNHLibrary.
