Hopkinton Yard sale collection

Hopkinton High School’s Interact Club is seeking donations for its annual post-holiday indoor yard sale. It’s a great time to declutter and organize your home for the new year. The club is accepting items in good condition, but please no clothing or shoes. Items may be dropped off at the school office from Friday through Jan. 17. All proceeds from the yard sale will go towards Interact service projects in Puerto Rico and the community. Mark your calendar for the Interact Yard Sale Jan. 18 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the High School.

Concord Shaping family history into stories

Dust off your boxes of family memorabilia and start mining them for golden stories. Local author Christine Halvorson will teach us how to spin family stories into gold. Halvorson will share her research process, the mistakes she’s made, and a bit about the story-writing process. We encourage you to bring one memorabilia item or a significant photograph from your family to help in the evening’s discussion. Join the event Jan. 16 at 6 p.m. at the Concord Public Library, 45 Green St. For more information, call 225-8670.

Epsom Fitness at the lodge

Concord-Epsom Elks Lodge 1210 on Old Mill Road is offering three formats of Zumba fitness to the community. Half of all proceeds go to the Elks for their community programs.
