Winter’s first kiss was expected to be washed away by rain and warm temperatures later this week.

A brief storm delivered several inches of snow to Concord Monday night that might not stand a chance after Wednesday. Forecasts are calling for 1-2 inches of rain and a high temperature of about 57 degrees.

The end of the week is expected to be mostly clear and cold, according to the National Weather Service.
