Monday, November 13, 2017

Bow police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a truck that sideswiped a bicyclist early Friday morning.

The bicyclist said he was struck sometime around 4 a.m. by a large truck, possibly a tractor trailer, while riding on Route 3A near the Dunklee Road intersection, police said. The man was taken to an area hospital for treatment, and police were notified roughly an hour later.

Police said they are reviewing security cameras along Route 3A in an effort to identify the truck involved.

A WMUR report identified the bicyclist as 21-year-old Eugene Robinson. His mother, Darlene Robinson, said her son suffered three spinal fractures and is being treated at a Boston hospital.

Police are asking anyone with information about the incident to call the department at 228-1240.
