A Boscawen woman was arrested Wednesday in connection with a crash last year that left her and a child with serious injuries.

Paige Corriveau, 28, faces two counts of second-degree assault and one count of reckless conduct following the March 1 crash on Interstate 93 in Bow. Police said a review of cellphone records shows that Corriveau was distracted because she was texting while driving.

A 6-year-old passenger was taken to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon where he underwent emergency surgery, police said. Corriveau also received medical treatment.

Corriveau was released on $2,000 personal recognizance and is scheduled to be arraigned Feb. 15 in Merrimack County Superior Court in Concord.
