A Bow man, accused of killing a woman while driving drunk in Manchester last year, has been charged with negligent homicide.
Alexander Burke, 32, of Logging Hill Road, was indicted by a Hillsborough County grand jury on two felonies, including aggravated DWI, and four misdemeanors for simple assault. Authorities say he ran a red light early on the morning of Nov. 29 and smashed into a Honda Pilot carrying four people.
Isabel Pena Batista, a passenger, died in the crash. Raymundo Martinez, another passenger, suffered a fractured vertebra in his neck. A woman in Burke’s car, who had also reportedly been drinking, suffered minor injuries.
The crash happened at the intersection of Union Street and Lake Avenue.
