Through Aug. 19, the Bradford Center Meetinghouse has been transformed into a gallery space featuring 50 pieces in a variety of mediums during the “Paint the Steeple” Art Show.

Most of the various works by local artists are for sale and any commission taken by the Meetinghouse will go towards costs to paint the steeple in the ongoing preservation efforts of the 1838 landmark.

The art show is open to the public on Aug. 17 starting at 7 p.m. during a music festival and on Aug. 19 from 2 to 3 p.m. during the Ice Cream Social and Kearsarge Community Band Concert as well as by appointment by contacting Laurie Buchar at
