Ben Cushin, of New London, a regional manager for Four Seasons Sotheby’s International Realty in Hanover has been elected as the 70th president of the New Hampshire Association of Realtors. In January he will begin in his new role with the organization and its 7,500 members statewide. Cushin said his primary objective will be to continue the fight for housing availability amid the growing inventory and affordability crisis.
Jeffrey White was appointed by the New Hampshire Executive Council on Dec. 7 to the position of Director of Field Services for the Department of Corrections. Governor Sununu nominated White on Nov. 22. White joins the Department of Corrections after spending most of his career in law enforcement with over 25 years within the US Marshal’s Service. His experience in the justice system includes fugitive investigations, law enforcement interviewing, threat investigations and witness security with areas of expertise in judicial protection prisoner processing, conducting briefings, and service of criminal/civil process. His experience brings multiple law enforcement agencies together with the New Hampshire Joint Fugitive Task Force and will be put to effective use in this position.
Terrie McQuillen was appointed to the Regional Economic Development Center’s Credit Committee at Merrimack County Savings Bank. Serving as the Senior Vice President of Credit Administration at The Merrimack, McQuillen assists the non-profit in reviewing small business loan applications and recommending appropriate terms and conditions for each application.
Michael Rafferty, CFP® Senior Vice President, Senior Relationship Manager is retiring from NHTrust on Dec. 31 after more than 30 years in the wealth management field. Rafferty was a co-founder of The New Hampshire Trust Company in Keene in 2002 and joined the newly organized NHTrust organization when NHTrust acquired The New Hampshire Trust Company in 2020.
