Chichester town administrator Jodi Pinard resigned from her position at the Board of Selectmen meeting Tuesday.
The town will begin the search to fill the position after the holidays, according to selectman Michael Williams.
In the interim, planning coordinator and administrative assistant Kristy Jobin will take on some of Pinard’s responsibilities, with the selectmen pitching in as needed. Pinard has agreed to stay on in a part-time capacity as the town goes through budget season.
“Everything’s going to proceed as normal,” Williams said. “There shouldn’t be any disruption in any town services or anything else. We’re going to keep going as normal and don’t anticipate any sort of hiccups.”
Pinard’s resignation comes after fire chief Alan Quimby resigned in August. The town has since hired Timothy Robinson as the new fire chief.
