What was the highlight of your season?

The highlight of the season to me, was going 10-6 and hosting a first-round playoff game. That was my team’s goal from the beginning of the season. To accomplish that together as a team was one of the best feelings.

Who was the unsung hero of your team?

I would say that the unsung hero of my team is Jolene Wood. Game after game, our coach would put her on the opposing team’s best players and she never complained about it. She always gave 110 percent, barely let anything by, and when she did, she competed extremely well with girls who were 1-2 years older than her. Jolene is one of the hardest working players I’ve seen and never gives up, so she is definitely the unsung player of my team.

If you could improve high school soccer in New Hampshire, what would you do?

I wouldn’t really change anything. I think the games and the rules are fair just the way they are.

Do you have any sports superstitions? If so, what are they?

I put my right sock on first, then my left. Same with my cleats. I always do my right first, then my left.

Who is the funniest person on your team? What makes them funny?

Definitely Emily Thompson. She was always making me and the other girls laugh and have a good time.

What are some misconceptions about your sport?

I don’t really know of any misconceptions about soccer.

What movie can you watch over and over without getting tired of it?

“She’s the Man.”

When you are old, what do you think children will ask you to tell stories about?

Probably about what I did with my friends in high school and the sports I played.

Where do you get your news?

I don’t really watch the news, but sometimes it’s on in my kitchen in the morning and I watch it when I’m bored.

What movie quotes do you use on a regular basis?

I don’t really use movie quotes on a daily basis, but when I do, I use quotes from “Mean Girls” and “White Chicks.”

If you built a themed hotel, what would the theme be and what would the rooms look like?

I would make a sea themed hotel with rooms that are beachy and have rooms underwater, because I’ve always wanted to stay in a hotel that has rooms underwater.

What would be the best thing you could reasonably expect to find in a cave?

An underground spring. I have always wanted to go to the Devil’s Den in Florida, and that would be the best thing to find in a cave to me.

If you could go to school in a foreign country, which country would you pick and why?

Italy, because it is so beautiful there and I would love to learn more about the country!

What’s the opposite of a koala?

An orca, because koalas climb trees and are not very smart, whereas an orca swims in the ocean and is extremely smart.

What questions would you like to ask a time traveler from 200 years in the future?

I would ask for the winning Powerball numbers.

If you were hired to show tourists what life is really like where you live, what would you show them / have them do?

I would show tourists places like the White Mountain National Forest, Canobie Lake Park, and Gunstock.

What’s the most boring superhero you can come up with?

What’s the best thing about being a teen? What’s the worst?

Not having a lot of responsibilities and playing sports is the best to me, and the worst is probably high school drama.
