What was the biggest challenge you or your team faced this season and how did you overcome it? The biggest challenge our team faced this season was the lack of players we had on the team. Our team consisted of only 10 players. We overcame that struggle by each of us trying out different positions on the field to be successful. My teammates and I were open minded to the idea of playing somewhere we have never played before.

Who was the unsung hero of your team? The unsung hero of our team, I believe, was Ami Rivera. There were countless moments where Ami saved the team in tough situations in the field. She has incredible spirit and love for the game of softball.

If you could improve high school softball in New Hampshire, what would you do? I would advocate more about high school softball. It is a great sport and people tend to overlook it.

Do you have any sports superstitions? If so, what are they? Before the start of an inning on the field, I always make sure I do my handshake with my first baseman. If we don’t do the handshake, I feel the inning is not going to go so well.

What are some of the unwritten rules of your sport? Do not step on the lines before a game, sportsmanship and love of the game.

Who on your team, coaches included, reminds you of a character in a TV show or movie? My head coach Freddy Rivera reminds me of the Road Runner because he’s constantly running around doing so much for Brady softball, his travel teams, etc. Freddy is busy 24/7.

If life were a video game, what would some of the cheat codes be? I would say money, education, services, etc. Having everything handed to you.

What is something that is really popular now, but in five years everyone will look back on and be embarrassed by? I would say the new video game Fortnite that everyone is obsessed with.

Where do you get your news? I get my news from the Concord Monitor or WMUR.

What are the best and worst purchases you’ve ever made? The best purchase I have ever made was my Wilson A2000 softball glove. The worst purchase I have ever made was getting my nails done during softball season.

What’s the most ridiculous fact you know? That every person in the world has seven dopplegängers.

What’s invisible but you wish people could see? The inner qualities of a person’s personality.

If you could go to school in a foreign country, which country would you pick and why? I would go to Spain or Italy. I have never been out of the country before in my life and I would love to see the amazing culture of Spain and Italy.

If animals could talk, which would be the rudest? I would say a cat because they are sassy and feisty little guys.

What questions would you like to ask a time traveler from 200 years in the future? Can cars fly? What types of food do you have there? What are some new technology?

If you were hired to show tourists what life is really like where you live, what would you show them / have them do? I would show them all the beautiful parts of New Hampshire that I have been to. I would show them my everyday routines, my home, my family life, etc.

What is the craziest thing one of your teachers has done? One of my teachers was an actor in the movie Here Comes the Boom. He was the security guard.

What’s the best thing about being a teen? What’s the worst? The best thing about being a teen is having so much fun in life without having as many responsibilities. The worst is dealing with the drama of teenagers.
