What was biggest challenge you or your team faced this season and how did you overcome it?

Losing to tough teams by less than five points was a big challenge that our team overcame. We became a completive team by showing up to early morning practices on days off and persevering in a game when faced with adversity.

Who was the unsung hero of your team?

Sydney Stevens for her constantly positive attitude, making moves and doing the little things right when we needed it most.

If you could improve high school basketball in New Hampshire, what would you do?

I would encourage more mentoring from high school basketball players to middle and elementary players. Like reffing basketball games, hosting clinics or having conjoined practices for younger players, like our team did.

Do you have any sports superstitions? If so, what are they?

I ALWAYS listen to Party in the USA and drink a Sobe Citrus Energy drink before every game.

What are some of the unwritten rules of your sport?

It’s not over until it’s over.

Who on your team, coaches included, reminds you of a character in a TV show or movie?

Sophie George and Bella Daly remind me of Dumb and Dumber.

If life were a video game, what would some of the cheat codes be?

No. 1 Cheat Code: If you have the hiccups, take a sip of water, bend over and swallow it while your head is hanging upside down ... no more hiccups.

No. 2 Cheat Code: 5 by 5 rule, if it won’t matter in five years, don’t let it bother you more than five minutes.

What is something that is really popular now, but in five years everyone will look back on and be embarrassed by?

High-waisted Jeans

What are the best and worst purchases you’ve ever made?

Best purchases would include all the unnecessary food I go out to eat and buy, worst purchases would include all the times I’ve wasted my money on unnecessary food.

What’s the most ridiculous fact you know?

If you say “banana” when you have to sneeze you won’t sneeze anymore.

What’s invisible but you wish people could see?

People’s thoughts.

If you could go to school in a foreign country, which country would you pick and why?

France because I love the French language, culture and food!

If animals could talk, which would be the rudest?

A kangaroo.

What questions would you like to ask a time traveler from 200 years in the future?

I would ask if A.I. has taken over the world yet.

If you were hired to show tourists what life is really like where you live, what would you show them / have them do?

I would have them visit the Weirs, Funspot, Kellerhaus. I would also make them go hiking, swimming, boating, go to a Muskrats game and Sawyers.

What is the craziest thing one of your teachers has done?

One of my teachers fell out of a white water rafting boat in Costa Rica, died and had to be revived, but still came back to teach us once vacation was over.

What’s the best thing about being a teen? What’s the worst?

The best thing about being a teen is making memories during summers and vacations with friends that live nearby, the worst thing is knowing you’re going to graduate and go your separate ways.
