■The Concord Young Professionals Network (CYPN) invites local young professionals to join the upcoming networking event at the NH Pizza Co. (76 N. Main St.) for delicious pizza and great conversation while networking. ■If you are a woman in the greater Concord area looking for volunteer opportunities, the Concord Contemporary Club might be the answer. As part of the General Federation of Women’s Club, the meeting will be on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the City Wide Community Center (14 Canterbury Rd.). ■The Concord Hospital’s Center for Health Promotion is offering free Car Seat Fitting on Thursday from 9 to 11 a.m.at Concord Central Fire Station (150 N. State St.). ■On Feb. 19 at 4:30 p.m. at Gibson’s Bookstore, 45 South Main St., is pleased to welcome Katee Robert for the fourth book in her Dark Olympus series, Radiant Sin, a scorchingly hot modern retelling of Apollo and Cassandra! This event is happening after hours so that no little ears are in the store for what will surely promise to be spicy 18+ conversation topics. To preserve Roberts hand, there will be no personalizations.

■The Barn at Bull Meadow, 63 Bog Rd., is hosting another Wedding Expo featuring many of their preferred vendors! You can pick a session (10 a.m., 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m). The advance purchased ticket price is $10, including a drink voucher. Each couple can bring up to four people with them and have 75 minutes to explore the barn and speak with vendors. ■Come learn to knit or bring your knitting to support Bishop Brady’s Habitat for Humanity trip. Join us Wednesday and Thursday from 6:30 to 8 p.m. to learn to knit. Make a Suzy Hat! Please join them in the Bishop Brady Library, 25 Columbus Ave.

■On Sunday at 11:30 a.m. at Beaver Meadow Golf Course, 1 Beaver Meadow Dr., support Nordic Skiing. SkitheBeav 5K is for 8th grade and older. ■On Monday at 11:45 a.m., GoodLife Programs & Activities, 254 N State St., join them for lunch! Your support and donation help keep our Meals on Wheels and Congregate Meal programs thriving. Our chef-inspired meals are sure to fill you up while enjoying time with your friends. The lunch is free for those 60 and up with a suggested donation of $2; 60 and below $5. Cash only.
