The Concord Fire Department responded to a blaze in an outbuilding on Manchester Street in Concord on Wednesday evening.

Battalion Chief Derek Kelleher said a report of the fire in a garage came in at about 7:30 p.m. Nineteen fire responders and three safety personal were present at the scene. Crews were able to get the blaze under control in about a half-hour.

The adjacent home and a nearby vehicle had some minor exposure damage.

No injuries were reported.

Kelleher said despite the snow and cold, fire crews did not have trouble accessing hydrants. Water from the firefighting efforts did freeze on the street in the 10 degree weather. Road crews were called in to salt and sand.

An investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing.

A Hooksett fire engine and a Hopkinton ambulance provided mutual aid coverage in the city while the Concord fire department was occupied.

According to city records, the outbuilding is adjacent to a single-family residence on a parcel shared by a manufactured home park owned by the Alosa Property Companies at 69 to 71 Manchester St.
