A Concord man is facing new federal sexual assault charges involving minors, the United States Attorney for Vermont announced on Tuesday.

Joshua Pincoske, 47, a former assistant basketball coach at Colby Sawyer College, was indicted Monday by a federal grand jury on charges of producing child sexual abuse materials on multiple dates between March 2019 and March 2021. He was also charged with interstate enticement of a different female minor in November 2021 and producing videos and pictures while sexually abusing her. In addition, Pincoske faces charges related to the distribution, transportation and possession of sexual abuse images.

Pincoske was first arrested in February after Concord Police obtained a search warrant and seized Pincoske’s phones and laptop, which showed hundreds of images and videos of Pincoske involved in sexual acts with young-looking women and girls, according to court documents.

Pincoske is being held without bail pending trial at the Merrimack County Superior Court on state charges of child sexual assault and producing child sexual abuse images. His federal arraignment has not yet been scheduled.

If convicted, Pincoske could face life in prison.

In February, Piscoske was arrested by Concord Police on similar charges, including the sexual assault of a minor and production of child sexual abuse images, police said.

He is accused of engaging in sexual activity with several girls under the age of 16 and creating videos and photos of their encounters.

Police said they identified one of the victims who was 14 and 15 years old when she was sexually abused by Pincoske in his car and inside his home on South Spring Street.

“It should be further noted that there are numerous additional sexual photos/videos involving as-yet-unidentified female parties who may or may not be juveniles,” police wrote in the warrant at the time of his arrest.

As a result of the state investigation, Pincoske faces more than 55 felony charges, not including the federal charges from Monday.

“The sexual abuse charges brought against Mr. Pincoske date back years and may have widespread consequences,” executive director Jessica Vaughn-Martin in a statement made in February. “We are here to support the community and provide services to those who need them.”
