A Concord man accused of crashing a stolen pickup truck in the city while out on bail was recently indicted.

Stephen Denault, 32, faces a felony charge of receiving stolen property in connection with the incident on Sept. 24 in the area of Chenelle Drive. Police said the arrest marked the third in the Capital City that month and that Denault was facing additional charges in the Seacoast for unrelated crimes at the time.

Police responded to Chenell Drive in Concord on Sept. 24 at about 7:05 a.m. for a report of a Ford F-150 pickup truck with unknown Massachusetts license plates that was parked in the woods. The pickup had struck a gate on Chenell Drive, police said.

Upon their arrival, officers found Denault in the driver’s seat of the pickup, which had been reported stolen from Portsmouth.

Denualt was also recently indicted in connection with a burglary at Eagle Square in Concord on Aug. 31.

Denault faces additional crimes in Portsmouth where police say he set fire to a Ford F-350 pickup in Prescott Park, according to published reports. He is accused of stealing the work truck from Peirce Island.
