A Vermont man died Sunday night in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 89 northbound in Warner.

Egber Sehovic, 24, of Barre, Vt., was pronounced dead at the scene, according to New Hampshire State Police.

Police responded to the crash scene at approximately 7:16 p.m. and found an overturned 2012 Chevrolet Silverado in the median, just north of exit 9. Sehovic was thrown from the vehicle, officials said.

The crash remains under investigation by Trooper Brandon Stubbs. Police said preliminary investigation indicated Sehovic’s vehicle drifted off the right side of the road, causing him to then overcorrect and subsequently crash into a group of trees in the median. No passengers were in the vehicle.

Police ask anyone with information about the crash to contact Stubbs at 271-1162.

Firefighters from Warner and Henniker assisted police at the scene.
