A Buffalo, N.Y., songwriter will be the featured musician at the next Andover Community Coffeehouse.

Davey O. plays Americana country- and folk-style music on a Gibson guitar wearing a beat-up cowboy hat.

His newest full-length album is titled A Bright Horizon Line.

Also appearing on stage will be up to a dozen open-mic performers from around the area. Sign up begins at 6 p.m., first come, first served.

The show will be Friday at 7 p.m. at the Highland Lake Grange Hall in Andover and is free. Donations are welcome to support renovations to the Grange Hall.

Refreshments will be on sale by the Andover Congregational Church.

This will be the last concert of the season, and the coffeehouse will resume in September with Dave Sherman.
