Intown Concord’s monthly First Friday Dogapalooza Edition featured a dog-friendly Main Street in downtown on Friday evening. Many of the businesses allowed dogs in their shops and restaurants allowed pooches outside on a leash.

The dogs came in all shapes and sizes. It even attracted non-residents of Concord to the downtown event. Shayne Devlin and her daughter Chloe are from Chester and came up for lunch and were happily surprised at all the dogs downtown. The pair stopped and talked with several of the owners. Tara Graham of Pembroke brought her two dogs, Clark and Alexander, so they could interact with all the dogs.

Launched in May, First Friday encourages downtown businesses to stay open late and add activities to draw in customers to the area.
