Dunbarton residents killed in motorcycle crash in Manchester

Manchester Police have confirmed that a fatal motorcycle accident Friday evening resulted in the death of two Dunbarton residents. 

Brandon Grant, 34, the motorcycle’s driver and Jamie Van De Car, 38 the passenger, both from Dunbarton died after a motor vehicle collided with their motorcycle on the north end of Elm Street in Manchester around 8:19 p.m., according to police. 

Authorities said a  43-year-old Manchester man driving a 2021 Honda Accord traveling south on Elm Street attempted a U-turn near 1205 Elm Street. 

De Car died on the scene. Grant was taken to a local hospital but succumbed to his injuries. The car driver did not sustain any injuries in the crash, police said.

The Manchester Police are still investigating the cause of the accident and have asked the public to contact 603-668-8711 if they have any information about the crash.
