The annual third-grade Henniker History Walk was held on June 8. Teachers, chaperones and parents walked with students about 8 miles to the various historical sites in Henniker. Throughout the walk, students gave presentations illustrating their knowledge of the development and growth of Henniker. The tour included the Edna Dean Proctor Bridge, town hall, post office, Hat Factory (Old Concord Road), train station, New England College and Pats Peak, where everyone enjoyed their picnic lunch before heading back to school.
