Letter: Security breach at the U.S. Treasury

Every senior in New Hampshire should be asking: If Elon Musk now has access to the Treasury Department’s computers, can he turn off my Social Security direct deposits? Can he cross reference public information from the Federal Elections Commission regarding my contributions to politicians with my private Social Security and banking information? Can he, with the information about my bank account he now has, reach in and withdraw funds? Our senators and representatives must be asking these questions as well. Both our senators voted to approve the appointment of Scott Bessent as Treasury Secretary. They now must hold him accountable for this dangerous security breach.
