Letter: Feltes cares about seniors

At the federal level, I have supported our congressional delegation’s commitment to senior health care.

At the state level, we need a governor who cares about seniors and will team up with our delegation.

For this 2020 election, I’m backing state Sen. Dan Feltes for governor.

Despite what some may think, health care matters at the state level. It’s more than just a political talking point.

New Hampshire has some of the highest health care costs in the nation. With increased co-payments, prescription costs, and premiums, we are moving in the wrong direction.

It’s time for a change.

As lead negotiator to reauthorize Medicaid expansion, Dan helped protect access for thousands of Granite Staters, especially those with pre-existing conditions.

Dan also authored the recently passed bill to cap insulin costs at $30 per 30-day prescription, which is so important to so many Granite State seniors, like me.

We have a president who is trying to dismantle the Affordable Care Act. We have a current governor who refuses to stand up to this. Electing Dan Feltes with his experience and vision is a major step forward.
