MANCHESTER – Rowdy Tellez homered twice, driving home four runs and scoring a couple as the New Hampshire Fisher Cats topped the Erie SeaWolves, 7-4, on Sunday.

Christian Lopes doubled and singled three times with two runs for New Hampshire.

New Hampshire got on the board first in the third inning when Jon Berti hit a sacrifice fly and Tellez hit a two-run home run.

Erie answered in the top of the next frame, scoring three runs to tie it up on a two-run double by Harold Castro and an RBI single by Kody Eaves.

The Fisher Cats took the lead for good in the fifth when Richard Urena hit an RBI double, driving in Lopes.

New Hampshire right-hander Jeremy Gabryszwski (7-8) picked up a quality start and the win after allowing three runs on six hits over seven innings. Opposing starter Cory Riordan (4-7) took the loss in the Eastern League game after a rough outing in which he allowed six runs and eight hits over five innings.

With the win, New Hampshire improved to 4-2 against Erie this season.
