Henniker plans to be hoppin’ with an 11-week summer concert series at the Angela Robinson Bandstand.

All the action begins with the inaugural Blues and Brews Fest on Tuesday at 6 p.m.

For the blues portion, BAZA, winner of the 2017 Granite State Blues Challenge, will take the stage at 7 p.m.

The duo of Doug Philbrook and Geof Goodell play in the tradition of Delta and Piedmont blues accompanied by harmonica and guitar.

For the brew portion, Henniker Brewery will offer samples of its five most popular beers, starting at 6 p.m. Drinks will be $1 for a single, 4-ounce taste or $5 for a flight of six beers, which includes the brand new Bicentennial Cream Ale created to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the New Hampshire State House. Beers will only be allowed in the tented area and served til 7:30 p.m.

And don’t worry about being hungry. The Henniker Rotary Club and the Fire on the Mountain Chili Fest sponsors will be serving up samples of chili and the concert committee will sell pizza from Sonny’s and Western Ave. Pizza.

The music will continue on Tuesdays at 7 p.m. with food concessions on select days opening at 6 p.m.
