Highlights: BG took a 1-0 lead late in the second period. Roy tied the game with 2:09 left in the third to force overtime, but the Cardinals scored 3:13 into OT to win the game.

Highlights: JSHHD took the lead halfway through the first with a power-play goal from Travers. In the second,  Podsadowski and Buss added power-play goals to extend the lead to 3-0. Buss finished off the second with a shot to the upper corner to give the General Hawks a 4-0 lead. In the third, Podsadowski netted his second and Buss finished off his hat trick with a nice tip from a Zahn shot from the point.

Coach’s quote: “It was great to see OB get rewarded for all his hard work. Pierce also had a very good game, getting his first high school shutout. Highlights: The Giants led the majority of the game thanks to a total team effort and Brady made free throws down the stretch to win.

Highlights: Kearsarge took an early lead with some points in transition and solid defense, and the Cougars put the game away in the fourth, outscoring Newport 22-16 and shooting 6-for-6 from the line on Thursday night. Needham had a four-point play.

Key players: Coe-Brown – Bryce Sartin (1st long jump at 20-3.5), Cameron Lee (3rd 55 dash); Concord  – Spencer Clemans (6th 1,500)

Highlights: Coe-Brown and Concord competed in the regular season finale on Saturday at UNH. The Division I championships will be held on Saturday, while D-II will be on Sunday.

Girls’ Indoor Track

UNH Morning Meet

Key players: Bow – Hannah Pawlowski (1st 600 in 1:41.66, 5th 300), Camden Wilson (2nd high jump), Keegan O’Meara (tied 3rd high jump); Belmont  – Ava Lacasse (1st 55 dash in 7.54 seconds, 2nd 300), Adeline Takantjas (5th 55 hurdles); Bishop Brady – Sarah Allen (4th high jump); Pembroke – Caitrin Bergeron (4th 1,500); John Stark – 4x800 (4th)

Highlights: Pawlowski and Lacasse held on to their No. 1 rankings in Division II in their regular season finale on Saturday at UNH. Area athletes will compete in the Division II indoor track & field championship on Sunday.

UNH Afternoon Meet

Key players: Coe-Brown – Isabelle Grenier (2nd shot put), Bristol Shirland (3rd 55 hurdles), Paige Murdough (4th 1,500); Concord – Consuelo Borico (tied 5th shot put)

Highlights: The Bears and Crimson Tide competed well in their final regular season meet of the season. Concord will compete in the Division I championship on Saturday, while Coe-Brown will compete in the D-II championship on Sunday.
