Girls’ Soccer

Concord 2, Pinkerton 2

Key players: Concord – Kate Dickson (goal), Laura Vitoria (goal), Willa Marino (assist), Kaylee Delocallano (defense), Cam Dubois (7 saves)

Highlights: Vitoria stole the ball in the attacking third and finished it to put Concord on the board early. Marino made a run down the sideline and crossed the ball into the box, and Dickson buried it into the back of the net.

Coach’s quote: “Our girls held the lead two times today and played extremely hard from the first whistle to the last. Our girls are growing throughout the season and are looking to keep getting better. I am very excited about these next few weeks to watch them play.”  – Andrew Mattarazzo

Highlights: The Crimson Tide trailed 2-0 at halftime in Tuesday’s loss to the Astros.

Bow 5, Laconia 0

Key players: Bow – Milo Cocola (3 goals, assist), Ethan Anderson (2 goals), Eli Ordway (2 assists), Rowan Schlosser (assist), Cam Fuchs, Ben Reardon

Highlights: Anderson scored a pair of goals in the first half to give the Falcons a 3-0 lead and Cocola scored a pair in the second half to lead Bow to its first win of the season.

Coe-Brown 2, Kennett 1

Highlights: The Bears were down 1-0 at halftime from a poor giveaway and had loads of missed attacking chances. Coe-Brown didn’t change its approach and eventually netted two goals in the second half to seal the victory.
