Highlights: Leroux put the Vikings on his back in the fourth quarter, scoring 15 points in that frame to get Mascenic within five points of the Kingsmen, but Charbono went 3-for-3 from the line and hit a timely 3 down the stretch to secure Concord Christian’s season-opening victory on the road.

Highlights: The Division II Spartans defeated the D-I Clippers in the 11th Annual NH Sportspage Jamboree on Saturday at Bedford High School. Berkeley scored a jamboree-high 25 points and went 11-for-11 from the foul line. Sinclair led Pembroke on the boards. Regular-season basketball opens for Division I, II and III on Friday.

Highlights: The Panthers fell behind 20-2 in the first quarter and the Tigers built their lead from there to hand Pittsfield a loss on the road in Friday night’s season opener.

Highlights: Parenteau won both of his matches by pin, wrestling up a weight class to lead the Bears to a pair of dual meet victories on their home mats to open the season on Friday night. Winnisquam won seven of 11 bouts against Stark and took advantage of three victories by forfeit. The Bears and Mascoma won four bouts each, but the Royals had to forfeit six weight classes.

Highlights: The Falcons competed in a nine-team season-opening meet at Colby-Saywer hosted by Kearsarge on Friday night. Bow won two relays with Sabine Karanouh, Hou, Thompson and Shippos forming the winning 200-medley relay, and Shippos, Hou, Fellers and Thompson on the winning 200-freestyle relay. Popielarz, Hailey Mauro, Key and Maya Owen were the second-place 400-free relay. Keene, Stevens, Plymouth, Conant, Fall Mountain, ConVal and Mascenic also competed.
