Three people were taken to Concord Hospital with serious injuries after a crash Saturday involving two motorcycles and one motor vehicle on the southbound side of Interstate 93 near Exit 12, according to state police.
New Hampshire State Police arrived at the scene at 1:29 p.m. and found a pair of motorcycles lying in the roadway and a sport utility vehicle stopped in the high-speed lane.
The three victims, who were not identified in a press release, were treated by medical personnel at the scene and then transported to the hospital.
A portion of I-93 south was closed for 1½ hours. Long, black skid marks could be seen in the area at 3 p.m., by which time traffic was moving smoothly.
The crash remained under investigation as of early last night. Anyone with information is asked to call Officer Daniel Livingstone at 223-4381 or email him at daniel.livingstone@dos.nh.gov.
