John Lynch has proven himself to be a man of many talents.

The former governor served a record four terms in New Hampshire’s corner office. No governor since the 1800s has been re-elected more.

He is also a former director of admissions for Harvard Business school and CEO of a national furniture company.

But dancing?

Those could probably use some work, according to comedian Ellen DeGeneres.

Lynch appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Wednesday, attempting the dance move “the floss.”

He was pictured with hip-hop dancer “tWitch,” who was teaching the audience the dance, which involves moving your hips from left to right while swinging your arms in the opposite direction.

Lynch was wearing a blue sweater, collared shirt and khaki pants, and he was sitting with his wife, Dr. Susan Lynch, who looked on and laughed as her husband danced.

After the clip of Lynch dancing played, Ellen asked another audience member, “Don’t you feel better about yourself now?”

Lynch served as governor from 2005-13. He has been a senior lecturer at Dartmouth College’s Tuck School of Business since 2013.
