Letter: Soucy stands strong for conservative values

I am Dennis R. Soucy, I am running for state representative in Concord Ward 8.

I have lived on Russell Street for 35 years with my wife, Carol Stebbins Soucy. We raised three great children here, and we have one grandson and one on the way.

I am Catholic, pro-life Republican and pro-Second Amendment, and I support all police and first responders. I am two years cancer-free. I am an Army veteran, and I oppose socialism and all this free stuff.

My parents came from Canada and Austria to work in the millyards of Manchester in 1912. Mom and dad and I were born and lived in the mMillyards of downtown Manchester. We were very poor, and they worked long, hard, 12-hour days. When I was young I picked up trash for 50 cents a day and delivered 200 newspapers daily. I made $12 a week.

I have seen a lot, and I know where I stand. I will always give you an honest answer, and I won’t be told how to vote. Seventy-five percent of voters in Ward 8 know me. I am very easy to find if you have any questions. Please call me or stop at my house anytime.

We have some great Republicans running in Merrimack County and Wards 7, 8, 9 and 10 in Concord. Please vote for us. Thank you, and God Bless America.
