I would like you to vote for my wife, Allie Maltais, for Concord School Board. We have been married for eight years and together for longer. I know firsthand the passion Allie has for helping children. Our oldest has autism spectrum disorder, and she fought to ensure he received all the services he needed. She then looked at other families that were struggling and focused on creating a group for parents to share not only their feelings but their experiences. Allie has always been a caring person going out of her way to help those in need.
When the Concord School District was involved with a sexual abuse scandal, Allie was devastated. She had belonged to the Concord School District and remember all the good she experienced. She wants to provide the children of Concord the same experience she had. She wants to ensure that they are safe within their school.
There are many stressors in this world today that children must deal with. One of Allie’s goals is to create a safe and nurturing environment where children can become kids again.
I want my kids to have a school district that its members are proud of, not ashamed of. I know Allie will take her passion and caring to create a school district that Concord can trust their kids to.
I ask you to vote with me on Nov. 3 for Allie Maltais.
