Concord Young Professionals Network (CYPN) introduces you to the “Young Professional of the Month,” Meredith Farrell Goldstein. Each month, the CYPN Steering Committee recommends a young professional in the community it thinks readers would enjoy getting to know better.

How old are you? 27.

Where do you live? I live in Londonderry with my husband, Matt, and our dog, Ellie.

Where do you currently work? I am a civil litigation attorney at Orr & Reno, PA. I advise clients on a variety of matters including commercial litigation, personal injury, municipal matters, and trademark and trade dress infringement.

What’s your favorite memory in Concord? In high school, I had the chance to participate in Youth and Government in Concord. My classmates and I loved coming to Concord every year and learning about our state’s government. The highlight of our trip was always stopping for pizza at Constantly Pizza.

When you were younger, what was your first job? My first job was as the on-field game day team member at the New Hampshire Fisher Cats.

What’s your favorite part of your workday? My favorite part of my workday is collaborating with my colleagues. I am lucky to work with a great team at Orr & Reno, PA.

If you could visit any country, where would you go? I have a long list, but I would have to say Italy.

How did you find out about CYPN and how has it benefited your business or you personally? I first learned about CYPN from a colleague of mine. After learning about the opportunities CYPN provides local young professionals, I knew I wanted to get involved. As someone who does not live in Concord but spends my workdays and many of my evenings in Concord, CYPN has helped me meet other young professionals in the area. I really enjoy getting to know everyone, and look forward to continuing to build relationships. I recently joined the CYPN Steering Committee, and I am very excited to help CYPN grow and create new opportunities for young people throughout Concord.

Who is your greatest role model? My parents are my greatest role models. For as long as I can remember, both my parents have been involved in our local community. They are always the first to jump in when someone needs help, and the last to take credit. They taught me the importance of community.

Last book you’ve read? “The Ride of a Lifetime” by Bob Iger.

Tell us an interesting fact about yourself! My husband and I love Disney, so we decided to get married on Disney property. Last year, we were the first wedding to ever be held at the Walt Disney World Swan Reserve hotel. Our wedding was held the day after the grand opening ceremony.
