Four days after a shooting in Boscawen, police have released little information about what happened.

Multiple agencies responded to a shooting in the area of 1 Corn Hill Road, which was on lockdown for several hours Sunday afternoon. Police said at the time that one man had been taken to the hospital with a gunshot wound and at least two people had been taken into custody on unrelated charges.

Two of the men in a home were wanted on outstanding warrants and both resisted arrest before one put a police dog in a chokehold and bit it on the head, police said.

Boscawen police Chief Kevin Wyman and Lt. Jason Killary could not be reached by phone for further information.

On Monday, Wyman said, “We had state police major crimes here, going through the house and collecting evidence, as well as interviewing people. We’re getting a lot of conflicting stories.”
