Laconia Motorcycle Week kicked off this weekend. The Mae-West Memorial ‘For the Love of Pets’ ride benefiting the New Hampshire Humane Society started from Weirs Beach on Monday morning. Over 100 bikers rode through Lakes Region towns and wound their way to the New Hampshire Motor Speedway in Loudon for raffles and music in the afternoon. The event, which bills itself as the world’s oldest motorcycle rally, goes through June 17.
