Letter: Gone but not forgotten

Few people cross paths with Concord’s residents more than the city’s teachers. In the last twenty months, nine of my former colleagues at Concord High School have died. Some received stories in the Monitor because of their athletic connections. Others had obituaries printed.

Three lived out of town and their deaths went largely unnoticed. Tom Walton. Arlene Mullen. Dan Richardson. Rusty Cofrin. Sue Ratnoff. Hal Posselt. Don Lebrun. Oscar Serard. Joanne McGlynn. As Willy Loman’s wife said in Death of a Salesman, attention must be paid.
