Concord’s Pinkham scores game-winner for No. 5 UNH soccer

Concord’s Chris Pinkham scored the game-winning goal for the No. 5 nationally-ranked University of New Hampshire men's soccer team to lift the Wildcats to a 1-0 victory over Maryland-Baltimore County.

UNH remains undefeated at 13-0-2 and 5-0-1 in America East conference play, and are one of just three remaining undefeated teams in the country (No. 4 Kentucky and No. 12 St. Louis are also undefeated).

The Wildcats have outscored their opponents 33-7 and have posted eight shutouts.

The victory secured a spot for UNH in the six-team America East postseason tournament. The Wildcats are currently in first place in the conference. The top two teams get byes to the semifinals.
