Rogers should resign

Democratic state Rep. Kathy Rogers of Concord pleads guilty to assault. Why isn’t anything being said? Why is it just being pushed under the rug?

Democratic Party Chairman Ray Buckley blasted the Republicans and Gov. Chris Sununu that two Republican state representatives should resign. When a Republican representative from Hillsborough County was accused of sexual misbehavior, the case was dismissed. Then a Republican Seacoast state representative was accused of foul language, and the case was dismissed. They are both innocent of all charges, but the Democrats are pushing for them to resign.

The ethics committee and code of conduct says that any government state or city official guilty of any crime must resign, then there is no doubt in any jury or anybody’s mind as to what did or did not happen. Only the defendant and God know the truth.

Behavior like this is not acceptable. Please do the right thing and resign, You will be prayed for and forgiven. Or leave it up to the State House and the people of Concord to decide your fate. Good luck and God bless.
