Police investigate shots fired on Hanover Street

Concord Police charged an 18-year-old man with reckless conduct and other charges after responding to 911 calls reporting gunfire Thursday night in the vicinity of Hanover Street.

Jayden Ballam-Quiah, of Concord, is facing charges of reckless conduct, unauthorized use of a firearm and breach of bail conditions

Police responded to 911 calls around 7:27 p.m. reporting shots had been fired, responding officers found that an individual had discharged a firearm outside on Hanover Street before withdrawing into a residence on the same street.

Following his arrest, Ballam-Quiah was processed at the Concord Police Department and was held in preventative detention. He was scheduled to be arraigned on Friday.
