Police: No apparent ‘foul play’ in Louisiana man’s death in Concord

Authorities are investigating the death of a 49-year-old Louisiana man who was found dead in Concord on Sunday evening.  

Attorney General John M. Formella and Concord Police Chief Bradley Osgood announced Monday afternoon that a man, later identified as John Grove, was found dead on Church Street Sunday.

The area is near the former Walker School, which is now the offices of the Binnie Media Company. 

The preliminary results of the autopsy revealed that his death did not appear to be a result of foul play. The cause and manner of his death are still pending further investigation.
