■The Planning Board would like to thank all the Canterbury residents who have turned out over the past two years to attend public meetings in the Town Hall for the preparation of the Master Plan update and the zoning amendments proposed for the upcoming Town Meeting. The Board has been keen to propose warrant articles that will better prepare the town for the pressure of future development while maintaining the much-valued rural character of Canterbury. The final language of these warrant articles is available on the town website. Long-time planning board member Joshua Gordon put together a short video explaining these proposals. Hard copy texts and summary explanations will be in the town office, the country store and the library later this week. In addition, on Tuesday, March 12, when residents come to vote at the Town Hall, that information will be available to read, and Planning Board members will be available at a table in the entrance to answer any questions residents might have.
