Friends appreciate community support

A big thank you to those that stopped by the Heritage Harley Davidson dealership Community Barbecue on Sept. 30 to support the Friends Youth Mentoring Program. It was a cold and rainy day but the food was delicious and the company wonderful. We raised $300 to support the Youth Mentoring Program and had enough donated food and drinks leftover at the end of the day to support upcoming Youth Mentoring Halloween Parties, as well as to share with the Friends Emergency Housing family shelter and the Friendly Kitchen. This event would not have been a success if the following people and organizations had not stepped up to donate baked goods, barbecue items, drinks and their time – Concord Chapter Ladies of Harley, Christ Church PCA, Panera Bread, Allen Desbiens, Nancy Paul, and Bri Milligan. Of course, thank you to Heritage Harley-Davidson for your generosity in hosting this event.
