Pancake breakfast aids Meals-on-Wheels

On April 29 from 7 to 11 a.m., the TRIP Senior Center held a pancake breakfast at Elks Lodge 1280, located at 192 Central St. in Franklin, to raise money for the Meals-on-Wheels program. It was extremely successful and would not have been possible without generous donations from the community: Elks Lodge 1280; Thrift Clothes Closet; Walmart; VFW Ladies Auxiliary; Franklin Area Lion’s; Benson Auto; Ionic Ragged Mountain Eastern Star; and Fred Caruso at Mix 94.1 FM. A special thank you to all the TRIP Center volunteers and Elks members who volunteered their time to help from start to finish! These include: Nancy and George LaBonte; Doug and Jo Ellen Ricard; Joe Marceau; Pam Patrick; Mary Perkins; Linda Bachert; Rich Bourdeau; Tony Bloom; Gerri and Ron Cote; and Joann Trottier. Again, thank you.

Nancy Marceau,
