Volunteers appreciated on Day of Caring

Canterbury Shaker Village extends its deepest thanks to the 90 United Way Day of Caring volunteers who gardened, painted, hauled brush, and moved furniture on Sept. 5. Their efforts have made a major contribution to the appearance of this National Historic Landmark and will be seen and appreciated by thousands of visitors over the coming months and years.

Thank you to these generous and community-minded companies for sharing their fine employees (and some students) with us for a day: Associated Grocers of New England, Elektrisola, Health Trust, The Lawson Group, Lincoln Financial Group, N.H. Hospital Association-Foundation for Healthy Communities, Parker Academy, and two groups of State of N.H. Employees.
