EPSOMPick up trash, get a tree

■If you helped with roadside clean-up the two-year Fraser fir saplings are available for pick up. Fraser firs are the preferred tree for Christmas trees. A container with individually wrapped trees is at the Epsom Fire Station. The container is located outside the backdoor which is the entrance to the Function Room. Please do not ask for help. Just help yourself. We will resupply as needed over the next week. Thank you for caring about Epsom and doing your part. Please let the Epsom Conservation Commission know what you accomplished and the commission is sorry the event did not go as planned. We are all dealing with changing plans during the pandemic. Be safe, be smart.

■The Highway Department has begun road work for the Center Hill paving project for Center Hill Road, Griffin Road and Echo Valley Road. The roads will be down to one lane of travel during construction hours. Please be careful around the workers.

■The Epsom Youth Athletic Association board has had to cancel the spring sports season. Registration fees will be credited to your accounts soon. All the spring fundraisers will be cancelled as well. EYAA sincerely appreciates your patience while this process was being worked through. If you have any other questions please email eyaayouth@gmail.com.

■The Epsom Food Pantry is available for those in need during these times. No sign up is required and assistance is confidential. We are all in this together! Call 734-4006. Hours are Wednesday from noon to 2 p.m. or Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon. Thanks again to all the generous donations that have been given to the pantry!

■Webster Park remains open to the public, however the town is not taking reservations for any functions in May. The selectmen asks that all residents use caution when using the park and/or playing on the playground. The park facilities and playground equipment have not been cleaned or sterilized. Large gatherings are prohibited.

■Happy Mother’s Day today to all the birth moms, angel moms, moms-to-be, grandmas, stepmoms, adoptive moms and fur-baby moms! Enjoy your special day!

■Happy birthday wishes to Linda Towle, Diane Yeaton-Bishop, Denise Robinson, Sheryl Gauthier and Bruce Blye!
