■Allenstown Town Elections will be held on March 14 from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. at St. John the Baptist Parish Hall at 10 School St.

■St. John the Baptist Parish Nurse Program and the Community Table will be closed on March 14 due to the Allenstown Town Elections. Both the Community Table and Parish Nurse Program will be back on March 21.

■Monthly Market will be held March 11 from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. and on March 12 from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Parish Hall.

■Knight of Columbus will be holding St. Patrick’s Day Church Supper on March 18 at 5 p.m. at St. John the Baptist Parish Hall. With Corned Beef and Cabbage.

■Arts and Crafts at the Suncook Senior Center on March 15 at 10 a.m. will be making small baskets with flowers.

■St. Patrick’s Celebration at The Suncook Senior Center on March 17 at 10:30 a.m. with music by Don Smith and lunch will be served after. Don will come and play some country tunes and at 11:30 a.m. will be serving the traditional St. Patrick’s Day meal of corn beef, boiled potatoes, carrots, and cabbage. So the meal can be planned accordingly, please sign up or call 603-485-4254 by March 6.

CHICHESTERChallenge Coins

■The Chichester Youth Association is looking for businesses to sponsor a CYA baseball team or hang a sign on the field for advertising. Contact Robyn at ralizzeo@hotmail.com or any member of the association.

■Town and School voting for the election of officers and planning board articles will take place on March 14 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the town hall. The second half of the town meeting will take place at the school on March 18 at 9 a.m., when the budget and warrant articles will be voted upon. You will be able to register to vote on March 14 with the Supervisors of the Checklist. Please bring proper ID. The Town Clerks Office will be open on March 13 from 3 to 5 p.m., to accept absentee voter ballots.

■The Chichester Fire and Rescue are offering a limited edition of Challenge Coins. The sale of these coins will benefit the Chichester Firefighters Association. To purchase contact RJ Child at 505-9025 or call the department at 798-5954. The coin can be viewed on their Facebook page, Chichester NH Firefighters Association.

■The School Board will be meeting on March 15 at 6 p.m. at the school. The Trustee of Trust Funds meets on March 17 at 9 a.m. at the town hall.

■The Chichester Central School student council will be helping to restock the Under Cover Food Pantry. Please bring a canned good to the town meeting on March 14 or 8, or drop offs will be accepted at the front office at the school until March 24.

■The Board of Selectmen has accepted a donation from Global Partners of $4,000 to be used by the police department for training.

■The Chichester Fire Department is having an open house on March 17 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. for a chance for interested families to stop in and and meet the men and women of the fire department and learn about its operation. The department will answer questions on the budget and warrant articles before the March 18 town meeting.

■Chichester’s Harris Furniture announced that owner Bill Harris recently passed away. Bill was a strong support of Chichester activities.

■Chichester established maximum weight limit of six tons has been posted on town roads until April 30. Contact Craig Sykes, road agent, 798-4964 for exceptions.

■The Town and School Election Day is on March 14, cast your vote at the Epsom Bible Church from 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.

■On Tuesday there is no school for ECS Students, SAU-wide Professional Development Day.

■Please plan ahead for Town Office closures on March 23 and 24. The offices are moving into their new office space at the Old Town Hall, on Friday. The town offices will close in preparation for this move on March 23. Contact (603) 736-4825 with questions.

■The Michael Briggs Dinner will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, with a snow date of March 15. This is all-you-can-eat spaghetti, salad, bread, drink, and one dessert. Tickets are $5 per adult and $3 per child. We will continue to offer “to go” dinners.

■Movie Matinee at the Library on Wednesday at 1:30 p.m., The Banshees of Inisherin. Children’s Movie on March 15 at 4: p.m., Puss in Boots: The Last Wish.

■Thinker Thursday! The club starts at 4 pm and advanced signups are appreciated, but drop-ins are welcome. This week we will be chasing some rainbows in honor of St. Patrick’s Day! Using household materials we will customize and build spectroscopes that will allow us to see rainbows and discuss the affects of light and color.

■Teen program at the library: Monday Makers at 3:30 p.m. There will be a new craft or project put out each week, along with drinks and snacks. This is a drop in event and later arrivals are always welcome!

■Leprechaun Escape Room on March 18 at 10:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. A Leprechaun got loose in the library! Join Miss Hannah to find the leprechaun and break out of the room he has locked us in. This collaborative program will take solving clues, thinking critically, working together, and a lot of creativity to solve. Due to high demand, there will be two time slots available for the escape room. 15 kids can sign up for each spot. Stop by the library, call or email Miss Hannah at youth.services@epsomnh.org, or respond ‘Going’ to our Facebook event.

■Get connected with EPL! We have created a private Discord Server for Epsom Public Library teens! This is a space to connect with other teens, stay up to date on the library, and make your voice heard in either the Teen Advisory group or as a Teen Volunteer. This server is open to Epsom residents between the ages of 13 to 19 and will only be accessible by invite from Miss Hannah. If you would like to join the server please email Miss Hannah at youth.services@epsomnh.org so she can provide you with a login link. You can also stop by the library to get one from her.

■The Conservation Commission will meet on Thursday at 6 p.m. at the Town meeting room at the town office.

■The Pembroke Historical Society will host a Celtic Music Event – Joshua Tirrell-Wysocki will perform “Songs of Emigration: Story-Telling through Traditional Irish Music” on March 22 at 7 p.m. at the Pembroke Town Library.
